Simple payroll. Full control.
PayCoreHN computes Honduran statutory payroll: ISR (income tax withholding), IHSS (social security) and RAP (private pension contributions), overtime, the 13th and 14th month bonuses, and severance under the Código de Trabajo (Honduran Labor Code) — with statutory tables you update each year. All on one platform.
PayCoreHN does not receive, hold, transfer or disburse funds belonging to the company or its employees, and has no access to the company’s bank accounts. Payroll disbursements are authorized and executed solely by the client company through its own banking institution.
PayCoreHN is not a payment service provider, payment facilitator, money transmitter or e-money issuer, and does not issue stored value. It does not extend credit, and it does not process card payments. The software calculates amounts and produces documents and files; the client company decides what to pay and executes every payment itself.
The PayCoreHN engine applies the rules of the Código de Trabajo and of the Honduran institutions that administer payroll contributions. The tables for ISR, IHSS, RAP, overtime and minimum wage live in a central statutory catalogue you update when the law changes — no code release needed.
Withholding on the progressive scale published by the SAR (Honduran tax authority), with configurable brackets and exempt threshold. Projected monthly calculation, adjusted to taxable earnings.
Contributions to the Honduran social security institute: sickness and maternity (EM) and disability, old age and survivors (IVM), with their contribution ceilings and the employee/employer split.
Contribution to the Régimen de Aportaciones Privadas, Honduras’ mandatory private pension scheme, levied on earnings above the IHSS ceiling, with configurable employee and employer rates.
Statutory premiums for daytime, night-shift and rest-day overtime as set out in the Código de Trabajo, computed from the ordinary hourly wage.
The Honduran minimum wage table, which varies by economic sector and company size, updated each time a new decree takes effect. Salaries are validated against the legal floor on entry.
The two bonuses Honduran law mandates — aguinaldo (13th month, paid in December) and the 14th month (paid in June) — prorated by days worked (salary × days / 365), each with its own payroll run and applicable deductions.
Paid vacation entitlement rising with length of service as the law provides (10, 12, 15 and 20 days), with prorated pay calculation and a running balance of days taken.
Final settlements with statutory severance (auxilio de cesantía) by length of service, capped at 25 months for dismissal without cause, plus notice pay, accrued vacation and prorated bonuses — with a settlement record in PDF.
Calculation of the statutory paid day of rest and of deductions for absences and exceptions, on an exception basis: the period is assumed complete and you record only what deviates.
From the employee record to the final settlement. You switch on only the modules you need, and add more when you need them.
Calculation engine for ISR, IHSS, RAP and net pay, with payslips in PDF and export to Excel.
Generates a file in the layout your bank requires, which your company then uploads to its own online banking portal. Layouts for BAC, Ficohsa, Banpaís, Atlántida, Ficensa and others. PayCoreHN does not transmit funds and cannot authorize a bank transaction.
Exception-based recording, with a catalogue of exception types applied to the calculation over a date range.
Administrative record-keeping for loans and wage advances granted directly by the employer to its own staff — by installments or a fixed amount, with request form and promissory note in PDF — and calculation of the installments deducted through payroll. PayCoreHN does not extend credit, does not finance the employee and does not hand over money.
A catalogue of deductions by fixed amount, percentage or bracket, applied per pay period, monthly or on specific dates.
Dedicated runs for the two statutory bonuses, with prorated calculation and either deductions or application against an outstanding employer loan.
Calculation of severance, notice pay and prorated amounts by cause of termination, with the settlement record in PDF and delivery by email.

Payroll, advances and contractors in a single per-bank file for your company to upload, plus a management Excel breaking down every exception.
Per-user roles and a data scope by area or payroll group: each person sees and approves only their own people.
Integration with ZKTeco time clocks to feed attendance without manual entry.
Contractor invoices with the customary 5% quality retention, payment documents for internal approval, and release of retained amounts. Includes 20 contractors.
Journal entry and A/P invoice posted to SAP Business One (SQL or HANA) through the Service Layer, with idempotency and configurable flows.
Mobile app: clock in and out with geolocation and an optional photo, plus self-service access to payslips, letters and company notices.
Records what staff consume at the company’s own canteen — badge scan, signature on the tablet — so it can be deducted through payroll. It is not a payment method and not a wallet: there is no stored balance, nothing is topped up, it cannot be used outside the company, and PayCoreHN does not process card payments.
Schedules the wage advance the employer hands to its staff mid-period and deducts it automatically from the next payroll. Built for site crews. PayCoreHN neither hands over nor holds the money: the employer pays it.
The home dashboard shows the period’s payroll cost, the deductions, the total employer cost and the trend — so management decides on data rather than loose spreadsheets.

The questions we get most often about Honduran payroll, answered with the 2026 figures and the article of law behind each one. If your case is not here, write to us and we will walk through your numbers.
PayCoreHN is built specifically for Honduras: it applies the rules of the Honduran Código del Trabajo (Labor Code) and the official IHSS, RAP and SAR tables. Unlike a generic or international system, the country rules do not have to be configured by hand — they ship with the product, in a central legal catalog that is updated when the law changes.
IHSS contributions are capped at a monthly ceiling, which for 2026 is L 11,903.13. There are two schemes: Sickness and Maternity, at 2.5 % from the employee and 5 % from the employer; and Disability, Old Age and Death, at 2.5 % from the employee and 3.5 % from the employer. PayCoreHN applies both ceilings separately and also computes the employer share for reporting.
RAP (Régimen de Aportaciones Privadas, Honduras’s mandatory private pension scheme) is calculated on the portion of salary above L 11,903.13 per month, at 1.5 % from the employee and 1.5 % from the employer. Anyone earning below that floor does not contribute. PayCoreHN computes the base, both contributions and the file RAP requires.
ISR is withheld using an annual progressive table. For 2026 the first bracket is exempt up to L 228,324.32; from there to L 348,154.10 the rate is 15 %; up to L 809,660.75 it is 20 %; and above that, 25 %. PayCoreHN projects the employee’s annual income, computes the withholding for each pay period and adjusts it as actual income changes, with a configurable projection method.
Under articles 339 and 340 of the Honduran Labor Code, work on a public holiday or mandatory rest day is paid at double — a 100 % premium over the ordinary hour — plus a compensatory rest day. This is a different calculation from the overtime premium of article 330, and confusing the two is a common error: PayCoreHN keeps them separate and lets a company pay above the statutory minimum if it agreed to.
Article 330 of the Labor Code sets the premium by shift: 25 % for daytime, 37.5 % for mixed and 50 % for night shifts, and 75 % when the overtime extends a night shift. That is separate from a worked public holiday, which is paid at double under articles 339 and 340. PayCoreHN classifies each hour against the employee’s actual shift and applies the right factor.
It is the paid weekly rest day required by Honduran law. An employee with unjustified absences during the week can lose the right to have it paid. The rule is not applied identically by every company, so in PayCoreHN it is decided per incidence type which ones forfeit seventh-day pay, rather than applying one fixed rule to everyone.
The 13th month (aguinaldo) is paid in December and the 14th in June, each equal to one month of salary for a full year worked. An employee who joined or left mid-year is entitled to the pro-rated portion. PayCoreHN calculates both, including the pro-rata by hire date.
No. PayCoreHN is calculation software: it does not receive, hold, transfer or disburse funds, and it has no access to the company’s bank accounts. What it does is generate the file in the format the bank requires, so the company can upload it to its own online banking and authorize the payment itself. The company decides what to pay and executes every payment.
The Base plan, which includes the statutory modules and 5 users, runs from $70 per month for 10 employees up to $200 per month for 120. The Full plan includes every premium module and 10 users, from $280 per month. Premium modules can also be bought individually on top of a Base plan: biometric clocks $40, employee portal $30, SAP Business One $45, contractors $40, canteen $15 and mid-period advances $20. All prices are monthly and in US dollars, with a 5 % discount on annual billing and a 30-day guarantee.
Yes, and it is one of the cases it was designed for. Beyond employee payroll, PayCoreHN tracks projects with budget against actual spend, contractor payment documents that go through an approval flow, and retentions with their release. A consolidated dashboard shows payroll cost and contractor cost together, which is the figure a site manager needs.
Yes. The SAP Business One module posts payroll journal entries, contractor entries and payment documents straight into SAP with no re-keying, and works against both SQL Server and HANA.
Yes, with ZKTeco clocks. PayCoreHN reads the punches, matches them against each employee’s shift — including shifts that rotate by week — and automatically raises late-arrival, absence and early-departure incidences, which then go through approval before they affect payroll.
Yes. PayCoreHN is multi-company and each company lives in its own isolated database schema, so one company’s data never mixes with another’s. That is how accounting firms and groups with several legal entities use it.
